This quote truly resonates with me and my mission. Challenges and controversies will always be part of our lives , but I believe that how we decide to deal with them dictates our chance to be truly fulfilled and content.

 

We all deserve to be happy and feel fully accomplished with our lives and careers. If it does not feel that way, then we owe it to ourselves to make the effort to find a way to change the situation and to do everything we can do to find happiness. If we do not proactively seek a change, then we are accepting being stuck where we are and we become responsible for it.

 

We are all designed to thrive and be our best; there is no need to "be told" what to do or to "learn" how to do it; the answer is already inside us, we just need to uncover it.

 

Unfortunately, when we experience a “time of challenge and controversy,” in the attempt to get through it, we create unnecessary narratives, build limiting beliefs, blame others, and sabotage ourselves. These unhelpful mechanisms are what stop us from being the best we can be, from finding the answers we need and clearly seeing the way through.

 

Recognising that we are “dreaming of a change”, whilst in reality we are effectively stuck in a cycle, is the first most important step to take so that we give ourselves the chance to start a journey towards a “real change”.
